« J’ENCHÂSSE SOUVENT L’OBJET DE MON ATTENTION DANS CELUI DE MA DISTRACTION»

Mon travail prend la forme d’installation, de sculptures, d’inventaires photographiques ( parfois de seconde main) et de vidéos.

Les paysages à ras du sol, la transformation et l’animation de matières au bout du rouleau, les trucages artisanaux, les constructions boiteuses, le langage coagulé dans des mots-valises, néologisme, les mésusages, l’assemblage d’objets et de déchets industriels tendent à converger dans ma pratique de la sculpture et de l’image, vers le burlesque, entre le pathétique et l’enchanté.

Les récits cliniques, les gestes de l’artisanat vernaculaire, de l’histoire de l’alimentation et du traitement des excrétions humaines, les formes en transit, ainsi que les différentes techniques issues de la culture des restes, façonnent mes recherches plastiques.

My work takes the form of installations, sculptures, photographic inventories (sometimes second hand) and videos.

The landscapes at ground level, the transformation and animation of materials at the end of their rope, the artisanal tricks, the lame constructions, the language coagulated in portmanteau words, neologism, the other use, the assembly of objects and industrial waste tends to converge in my practice of sculpture and images, towards burlesque, between the pathos and the enchanted.

Clinical stories, gestures of vernacular crafts, the history of food and the treatment of human excretions, forms in transit, as well as the different techniques resulting from the culture of remains, shape my plastic research.
